MAR 2026

This winter, snow lay on the ground for a long time at sub-zero temperatures. As a result, the garden is waking up a little later than usual. Now, at the end of March, our impatience for fresh greenery is growing day by day. Sometimes we would like to skip ahead to the moment when the brown and gray of the last few months is completely replaced by fresh grass and the first leaves sprouting. But it is precisely this past that allows the tiny but countless flowers of the trees and shrubs to shine in white, pink, and yellow, or the bulbous plants to sprout everywhere from the ground and stand out brightly against the old foliage. It is precisely this contrast, this tension, that gives the new shoots their special power and fascination.
