For 1 liter

  • ca. 5 tsp green tea
  • 45 g ginger
  • 1 EL organic honey
  • 3 organic limes
  • 1 handful mint

Cook 1 liter of green tea. The taste of the tea is influenced by three factors: dosage, brewing time and water temperature. It is important not to use boiling hot water (60–90°C). Let it brew for 1–4 minutes. In the meantime, peel the ginger, slice it and add it to the tea. Take the teabag out but leave the ginger in the pot. Now add the honey and let it cool down for 1 hour. Now the tea gets its slight hot flavor. Squeeze two limes and add the juice to the tea. If you like it sweeter, add some more honey. Pour the tea into a carafe, wash the remaining lime, quarter and add it with the mint leaves before serving. Refrigerate it for half an hour or add some ice cubes.
